Since this generated so much interest, I wanted to share with you my new broom! Handmade at the market (I watched them!) it was less than $2.

    Pretty! Makes me want one. Does it work well? Or does it shed?

    It doesn't shed too much, but it's defintely better for outdoors (ie moving larger objects like leaves). The branches separate, so it's not so effective to sweep dust. I've used it to clear off the balcony (I've only opened the one off the bedroom so far)
